New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja on Tuesday questioned the recent meeting between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar and said, “If it is in the interest of Maharashtra, then why are they in two different camps?”
Speaking to ANI, CPI MP D Raja said, “…If it is in the interest of Maharashtra, then why are they in two different camps? They must explain to the people of Maharashtra what exactly they are trying to do…”
Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar met at a Sugar Complex in Pune on Monday, where they discussed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the agricultural sector.
The meeting focused on accelerating the development of the agricultural sector with AI to improve harvest outcomes for farmers.
“An important meeting regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the agricultural sector was held today. Respected Pawar Saheb and Agriculture Minister Shri Manikrao Kokate were also present on this occasion. There was an in-depth discussion on topics like accelerating the development of the agricultural sector with the help of artificial intelligence and bringing good harvest days to the farmers,” Pawar said on the social media platform X.
In June 2022, Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar split up when the latter left with 40 MLAs. The NCP is currently led by Ajit Pawar, while the NCP (SCP) is led by Sharad Pawar.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut spoke last week about the possibility of a reunion between the estranged cousins, Raj and Uddhav Thackeray, stating that no alliance had been formed yet, with only emotional talks having taken place.
Speaking to mediapersons, Raut further stated that the relationship between the two brothers had not been broken.”There is no alliance between the MNS and the Shiv Sena-UBT at present; only emotional talks are taking place. Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray are brothers. We have been together for years. Our relationship has not broken… Both brothers will decide (about the alliance). We have accepted what Uddhav Ji said: for Maharashtra, if we (MNS and Shiv Sena-UBT) need to come together, we will,” Raut said.
Furthermore, he stated that the parties claiming to be well-wishers of Maharashtra were actually its enemies and broke the Shiv Sena to attack the state’s pride. He added that no relations should be maintained with such parties. (ANI)
